How to choose among our yoga bangles and what are their benefits?

Here's how the adventure of wearing one of our yoga bangles begins, following the millennia-old findings of Vedanta astrology and Kriya-Yoga:

"Centuries ago, our yogis discovered that pure metals emit an astral light that is powerfully counteractive to the negative pulses of the planets. Subtle electric and magnetic #radiations are constantly circulating in the universe..." 🤔 extracted from chapter 16 of "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda.

WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE

The metals we use are related to various elements and influences intended to balance or enhance:

gold (with the Sun, creativity, spirit, and sattva),
silver (with the Moon, healing, mind, and rajas),
copper (with Mars, protection, body, and tamas).

Swami Yukteswar recommends for general purposes the Yogananda astrological bangle which contains gold, silver, and copper; but given its very high price (gold at €95/gram and the bangle containing around 50grams), it's preferable to try another one first and see how it suits us.

If we want to enhance physical/tamas balance more than mental/rajas, we would choose More copper than silver (2C1S), without forgetting the protective qualities of copper, which represents the planet Mars.

We would choose More silver than copper (2S1C) if our main concern is the mental aspect and the great activity/restlessness induced by a predominant rajas, along with the healing qualities of pure silver, which represents the influence of the Moon.

In both cases, it balances both planes but enhances one of the two more, depending on the amount of its associated metal.

If we only wanted to act on one of the two planes (physical or mental) (excluding the other), we would choose either Pure Silver Only (3S) or Pure Copper Only (3C).

WHERE TO WEAR IT

In ancient times, it was worn just above the elbow (3.7 in diameter, Original India version), where Paramahansa Yogananda wore it, but this might require adjustments due to the contraction and extension of the biceps.

We have discovered the comfort of wearing it on the forearm; where it's also not noticeable, can slide down to the wrist, and doesn't need constant adjusting. It's something I wear for myself ☺

(it's in the forearm, look how extremes are side by side)

The other option is to wear it on the wrist (with a 2.9 in diameter, Only bangle version, which is also a bit cheaper).

It's curious that it's the masters of Kriya-yoga and Kundalini who have recommended the use of yoga bangles, in contact with the skin and in proper proportions.

BENEFITS

Among the benefits of wearing yoga bangles are the following:

- Living more constantly in a state of yoga, by feeling their presence and the weight of the metals,
- Protection against electromagnetic radiations and gravitational influences of the planets,
- Aid in spiritual advancement and balancing mental states (sattva, rajas, and tamas),
- Meditation with an object.

We must wear it in contact with the skin, we will have to get used to it, ideally without taking it off (verified, pure precious metals do not set off airport security detectors), and keep it away from cosmetics.

The fact that we make them by hand, one by one, using pure metals (99.9%) and in the proportions used by generations of yogis, in contact with the skin, is the basis of how special they are.

Once we receive your order, we get to work and create it exclusively for you (we don't work with stock), using traditional jewelry techniques which mean no two yoga bangles are exactly alike.

Here we provide all the usage tips and also our FAQs; we hope you'll be encouraged to try this experience, which is definitely worth it.
